More of Antonia Sautter

I just cant get enough, I really cant. I've been non stop googling her since my last entry. Turns out she has a facebook page, I found her offical website (in italian) & SHE MAKES WEDDING DRESSES TOO!

Not even kidding you I may like her as much as I like Pnina Tornai
I found pictures of some beautiful bridal wear & also of her shop, so I created a slide show to share

Wedding dress & veil by Antonia Sautter

Daughter of a Venetian mother & German father, Antonia has always lived in Venice.
Antonia began sewing at a young age. Since she was a young girl she started drawing her own costumes, attaching pearls, sewing fabrics and was blessed to be helped by an encouraging mother.

"One day I just thought I wanted to create something for me, on my own, and I opened a small shop where I would display my creations. And there you go: from then on, things started to happen. I believe you make your fortune on your own, you have to create the right circumstances to help your dreams come true" says Antonia Sautter.

The dress that I originally loved - Designed by Pnina Tornai

This is from one of Pnina's first collections, this dress is from the 2007 collection (Pnina started designing in 2005) There wasn't much to find about this dress online other than "A sleeveless floor length ballgown, with a front slit in the satin over layer revealing the tulle under layer"

I wish I knew the original price, but in the fashion world 2007 is so long ago I'm lucky I even could still find the photo's for it. Isn't it pretty?

Pnina Tornai 2014

Without fail every year there is at least one dress in Pnina's collection that I like. Now when I say like I don't mean that I like it as much as the 2010 finale dress, I don't think I could ever like another dress more than that one but sometimes some of Pnina's other dresses come pretty close.

This year its style # 4281:

This I would not necessarily wear this as a wedding dress though I'm sure if you're having a beach wedding this would probably be perfect BUT I would wear this as a maxi dress in the summer. In fact thanks to this dress it has inspired a maxi dress which I am going to be making for myself to wear this summer.

Think its the ruffled sleeves that makes me like it so much ruffled sleeves are so Marie Antoinette esque and the lace makes it so lady like I cant help but want it. Here's some more pictures *drool*

Pnina Tornai

I would like to introduce my favorite wedding dress designer: Pnina Tornai.
Exclusive to Kleinfeild Bridal her dresses are perfect for the princess kind of bride. Lots of bling and ballgowns this is my kryptonite.

Every week I watch Say Yes To The Dress on TLC, I am not even kidding you about how excited I get every time there's a Pnina Tornai gown shown, but there has always been one gown in particular that I've always loved and it's the 2010 finale gown. Such as when this episode aired:

A huge ballgown with a ruffled skirt & the ruffles take on a flower like shape and I litterally just love everything about this gown & have ever since the moment I seen it, but there's just one problem: it's $25,000. So basically it's a dress I can only dream of. I can't help but love it none the less.
It's not just popular with me either Kleinfeild women's featured this dress in their article about what type of wedding dress Kate Middleton would wear in 2011 (http://www.kleinfeldwomens.com/blog.cfm?postid=1148&posttitle=Princess-Diaries-) . I just love this dress so much I thought I would share it with the world :)
