Today is indeed a very happy day. I spent this morning blogging about my friend Natalia Tjiang & found on Pinterest that some of you wonderful veiwers have shared some of my posts on Pinterest. Thank you this is a very big deal for me.
I know that every few months or so I quit blogging and I thought that since my blog had been so neglected by me it was one of those blogs that had fallen through the cracks and was veiwed by very few. I have been most happily been proven wrong.
My post about Marie Antoinette seemss to be the most popular one posted on Pinterest so in the future I will keep up with this & try not to disappoint all you wonderful veiwers.

Red Party Dress - Design by Natalia

I have over the past 2 years watched Natalia's talent evolve and the progression of her success.
This is probably one of my favorite designs yet, although with all her creations I have to say I have many favorites as its so hard just to choose one, but this one...THIS ONE.
:) was particularly amazing because it ended up turning out so wonderful she created a second one in blue. I was able to admire the overall function of the red dress when she wore it for her birthday & again at New Years. C'est la Magnifique!

My bridesmaids dresses - design by Natalia

It has been a long time planning everything but eventually I shall get married, and when that day comes my friend Natalia is going to be the lucky lady to create my bridesmaids dresses. Browsing online I absolutely COULD NOT find the perfect dresses for what I wanted my bridesmaids to resemble! I wanted my wedding to be sort of whimsical with my bridesmaids as fairies, the colors had to be pink & purple but none that I found fit all of my requirements so I decided to opt for custom designs

Trendy 2014

Spring is in the air! I'm so excited, I am emerging out of my winter hibernation like a butterfly out of a cocoon. To start the season off here is a perfect floral dress, that I would definitely create if I had the material!

Tudor Layers (Intro)

This is a demonstration of what many layers need to be made to make an accurate Tudor costume

Beginning soon after this post will be the start of a 11 part series describing each of these layers. I hope you all enjoy this brief video showing each layer & what you all can look forward to.

Trendy 2013

Here's a look that I thought would be fab & funky with a bit of edge.

This combines numerous trends of 2013: Neon, lace, peplum & animal accents (animal print & feathers)

This would prob make a good preppy but semi casual prom dress.I absolutely could not resist the shoes.

                   

If you want to go for a less wild & more classy look you could pair some black lace heels with it.I chose these particular shoes however because not only did I want to add a little edge to the look, animal print is still stylish.

Although right now as a main element in a dress animal print is not as fabulous as it once was (2011-2012) its great in the little details.
